At Blank Canvas Salon, we understand cancellations are a part of a scheduled business; however, we ask that you please provide us at least 48-hours notice if you know you are unable to make an appointment. This is to enable us to have enough time for the stylist to fill the spot. Life isn’t perfect and sometimes things pop up without being able to give a 48-hour notice. Although we address each of these situations on an individual basis, cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a 50% charge of the service. Habitual cancellations will require a non-refundable deposit of 100% of the service to rebook. 

No call/No show appointments are subject to a 50% charge and pay a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the service before booking again. Unfortunately, after two No call/No show incidents, we will require the appointment to be paid in full beforehand, which is non-refundable. 

Your appointment is important to us. In order to maintain top notch service, we ask that you please arrive on time to your appointment. We understand life happens from time to time, but if you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment which will result in a reschedule fee. 

We love our little future clients! We enjoy watching them grow up, and we love sharing special moments with our guests such as first haircuts, special occasion dances, etc. We always welcome our clients’ littles for appointments! Unfortunately, we don’t provide child care services and have found that the salon has a lot of fun looking things to “play” with that can be very dangerous for children. It’s for this reason we ask that, if your child is not getting a service, they stay at home. Children who are older and are able to sit quietly are welcome to sit and wait in our reception area. At Blank Canvas we are committed to each of our guests comfortability and safety, which is why we strictly enforce this policy. 

Most days you can find a furry friend hanging out. While we love having some of our stylist's dogs with us, we understand not everyone is as comfortable with it. If you have any questions or concerns, please touch base with your stylist or the salon before your appointment so we can make sure we accommodate you!

At Blank Canvas, your satisfaction matters to us. If you feel your hair needs a small adjustment after your appointment, please contact us within 14 days of your original service.

We are happy to provide a complimentary adjustment within that timeframe when appropriate.

Please note:

• Adjustment appointments are designed to refine the original goal discussed during your consultation.

• Requests that involve a change in direction (going darker, lighter, shorter, etc.) are considered a new service and will be charged accordingly.

• Adjustments must be performed by a Blank Canvas stylist. If you choose to have your hair altered by another salon or stylist, we are unable to offer a redo or refund.

• All adjustment requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Verbal abuse or raised voices

• Harassment or intimidation

• Discriminatory language or behavior

• Demeaning, belittling, or aggressive conduct

• Inappropriate comments of any kind

Our team deserves to work in an environment where they feel safe and valued. We reserve the right to permanently refuse service to anyone who compromises the emotional or physical safety of our team.

We believe in kindness, accountability, and mutual respect. If an issue arises, we are always open to calm, solution-oriented communication.

Blank Canvas is a safe space for all. Absolutely no hate speech will be tolerated.This includes any bigoted, homophobic, transphobic and racist speech.
