Cancellation Policy
At Blank Canvas Salon, we understand cancellations are a part of a scheduled business; however, we ask that you please provide us at least 48-hours notice if you know you are unable to make an appointment. This is to enable us to have enough time for the stylist to fill the spot. Life isn’t perfect and sometimes things pop up without being able to give a 48-hour notice. Although we address each of these situations on an individual basis, if cancellations become habitual, we will require a non-refundable deposit to prebook a future appointment.
No Call/No Show Policy
At Blank Canvas Salon, we understand things happen, that’s why your first no show appointment is no charge. If it happens a second time, we will require a $50 non-refundable deposit which will be applied to your service the day of your appointment. Unfortunately, after two no call/no show incidents, we will require the appointment to be paid in full beforehand, which is non-refundable.
Children in the Salon
We love our little future clients! We enjoy watching them grow up, and we love sharing special moments with our guests such as first haircuts, special occasion dances, etc. We always welcome our clients’ littles for appointments! Unfortunately, we don’t provide child care services and have found that the salon has a lot of fun looking things to “play” with that can be very dangerous for children. It’s for this reason we ask that, if your child is not getting a service, they stay at home. Children who are older and are able to sit quietly are welcome to sit and wait in our reception area. At Blank Canvas we are committed to each of our guests comfortability and safety, which is why we strictly enforce this policy.
Dog-Friendly Space
At Blank Canvas Salon, we LOVE seeing our furry friends! Since our opening, we have welcomed dogs of all sizes and breeds (check out our Instagram highlight “puppers” to see some!). Even though we love dogs, we do understand we are a salon, not a dog park, so we have put a few policies in place to make sure we don’t add more chaos to an already busy space! If your pup has *any* aggression issues (people with hats, other dogs, children, etc.) that you do not bring them. We cannot promise there won’t be anything to trigger them, so it’s best they stay home where they are happy. We do kindly ask that, if your appointment is on the longer side, you leave your pup at home. Although we love spending time with them, we have found most pups get bored, and it can make for a stressful appointment for you, your pup, and your stylist. If you do decide to bring your pup for a longer appointment, it must stay with you and you are in charge of its potty breaks, as our stylists are usually busy with other tasks while you are processing.
